Autumn is the season for illumination and lighting up.
坂出市でも11/3-11/12の10日間、みどり豊かな緩衝緑地エリアで竹と造形アートを使ったライトアップイベントが開催します。
Sakaide City holds a lighting up event using bamboo and art in the green buffer area from Nov.3rd to Nov.12th for 10 days.
竹あかりがさかいでの夜をロマンチックに演出してくれるので、カップル・お友達・家族みんなでぜひ、2023年の秋のライトアップを楽しんでください。
The bamboo lights set the night of Sakaide romantically.So please come and enjoy the illumination called “Sakaide Akinoyoru” with your partner, friends and family.

見どころ①：光り方が異なるたくさんの竹あかりを楽しめるHighlight 1: You can enjoy many various bamboo lights
今回のイルミネーションで使う竹あかりは地元企業である合同会社ゆうりんが作成したものと、地元の子供たちが作成したものが展示されます。
The bamboo lights used in the illumination this time were created by local children and local company named YU-RIN.
合同会社ゆうりんさんにご協力いただいた親子向けのワークショップで、電動ドリルで竹に穴をあけてライトアップで使う竹あかりを作ってもらいました。
This workshop was held by local company “YU-RIN”.The perticipants made bamboo lights to be used in lighting by drilling holes in bamboo with an electric drill.
イルミネーションを見に来る方にとっては光り方が違うたくさんの竹のライトアップが楽しめ、ワークショップにした参加者にとっては、自分の作品が他人に喜んでもらえたり、どんな光り方をするのかを楽しめます。
For those who come to see the illumination, you can enjoy the lighting up of many bamboo lights with different lighting. And for those who participated in the workshop, you can enjoy your own work being enjoyed by others or seeing how it lights up.
尚、竹あかりの設置場所については、合同会社ゆうりんさんの作品は会場入口と芝生広場、子供たちが作成したものは遊歩道部分あたりを予定しております。
Regarding to the installation locations,YURIN’s works will be installed at the entrance and lawn area of the venue, and the works created by the children will be installed in the walking path area.
見どころ②：芸術家”岡山富男”氏による動物アートが楽しめるHighlight 2: You can enjoy animal arts made by local artist
さかいで輝ノ夜では、坂出市在住の造形アーティストである岡山富男さんとコラボし、動物アートが楽しめます。
Sakaide city collaborates its local sculptor artist Mr.Tomio Okayama this time.You can enjoy his animal arts.
岡山さんの作品で有名なのが、なんといってもキリンの造形アート。
One of his masterpieces is giraffe art.
ユニークな作品でかわいらしく、なんか興味をそそられます。
His works are unique and interesting and like Kawaii.
高松市の栗林公園内にも岡山さんの造形アートが展示されていますが、さかいで輝ノ夜でも岡本さんのアート作品が楽しめます。
His art works are also exhibited in Ritsurin Park in Takamatsu City, but you can enjoy them at Sakaide Akinoyoru.
イベントではどんな動物のアート作品が来るか、楽しみですね。

イベント期間に合わせて臨時駐車場も用意してるので、お車での来場も可能です。
